![]() With fish feeling like a random this may or may not fit as a whole fish and filleting makes it near useless as you can never stack multiple. In general I really like the ideas behind both the fishing and cooking system updates but feel they need some tweaks to become more practical and less "just chuck everything on a full house pizza", which is how it often feels like currently. Which ends up making me wonder why bother going out to get them in the first place. Fillets you are limited to only using 1, which means if you are making decent meals fish ends up only being a tiny percentage of ingredients. With fish though, their volumes are so obscure that you can literally fit a metric ton of shark (at low quality) on a pizza, but you can't fit a single high quality catfish, or shark or several other fish. Plus I can stick all of the horse meat on a pizza. If I butcher a horse and end up with 5-10KG of meat, that is fairly low effort to do but to get that much weight of fish is quite a bit more effort. Would it also be worth tweaking how fish are used in cooking recipes a bit? In the meantime, feel free to check out Wurm on Steam, we'll see you there! It's getting late for us, so we're going to wrap things up for now! A huge thank you to everyone who asked questions, and we might drop in with some answers to some of the other questions raised too. We're here today to talk about indie development, Wurm, working remotely for a dev studio, and everything in between, so ask away! ![]() With the ability to terraform and shape the world around you and completely custom housing Wurm maintains this vision with every update. It's been continually developed and updated by a small team aiming to stay true to the original sandbox vision of complete freedom. Inspired by wanting to bring MUDs (multi-user dungeons, text MMO's) to life and by other early MMO's such as Ultima Online, they founded Mojang, and Wurm went gold on the 6th of June 2006. Wurm Online started development in 2003 by Rolf Jannson and Markus 'Notch' Persson. With the Steam launch, we launched three new servers, two PvE and one PvP with a completely fresh start. With no class system and non instanced completely custom player housing, Wurm Online offers an authentic sandbox experience where you can truly shape the world around you. With completely modifiable land, huge in-depth player crafting and many lands to sail between and both PvP and PvE experiences. Wurm Online is a sandbox MMORPG which started development in 2003, and we just launched on Steam. We are Code Club AB, an independent development studio based in Motala, Sweden but working remotely across the globe, from Poland to the US and New Zealand.
